Each photo in the gallery has a brief description attached, which is also sent with the photo when bought.
Obviously not all photos are for sale (no-one would pay for a photo with me in it!!), so some of these blogs tell the stories behind the other photos.
Hopefully they also help us all think about what is important in terms of wildlife, conservation, tourism, and the role we play on this planet.
Comments on the blogs are most welcome.

'Every picture tells a thousand words' is very true, and in these blogs I will highlight some of my most memorable experiences.
There have been several occassions when I have been watching wildlife and thought 'I've got better photos than that at home', and been briefly disappointed. I then remind myself how lucky I am to be making a living from taking photos, and sit back and enjoy the experiences.
Its a far better experience if don't spend all your time looking through the viewfinder, or at the LCD screen on the back of the camera.

Every day there are species of wildlife becoming extinct, and increases in human/wildlife conflict.
These issues will worsen as the human population grows, and our decimation of natural resources and the environment continues to increase.
The intention of these blogs is to discuss and in some cases raise awareness of the issues, and to highlight some of people and organisations trying to help.
Hopefully they will in general be inspirational rather than doom and gloom.

The blogs in this section highlight some of my favourite places for viewing Wildlife. My travels have ranged from organised Overland Trips with up to 20 other people, to commercially run Conservation Expeditions, to 3 weeks of safari with just me, a guide & a cook.

I have been photographying Wildlife as a hobby and then professionally for over 12 years. The links inthis section are to orgnaisations, products, and services I am happy to recommend from my experiences.

These blogs will hopefully give an idea of what is important to me, and how I came to be a Travel & Wildlife Photographer.
I will also use them to provide News Updates on travels, exhibitions, and new work.
